The mighty Edward R. Murrow once said, “Just because your voice reaches halfway around the world doesn’t mean you are wiser than when it reached only to the end of the bar.”
Thanks to the Internets, I guess all our voices reach halfway around the world, but that doesn’t mean anybody’s listening. I can’t say that Hitless Wonder has become any kind of world-wide sensation (although it does seem to be on a bit of a roll in Germany…more on that in a subsequent post), but it has garnered a lot more media coverage than I would have guessed. Below I’ve listed a few of the most recent mentions. For the full rundown, click the Hitless Wonder tab.
A nice review in the literary magazine, The Journal
An article on creative nonfiction by the Greater Columbus Arts Council
A very thorough blog post in the recording trade magazine, ProSound News
An interesting phone interview with Outsight Radio Hours
Many thanks to these fine outlets for helping to spread word of Hitless Wonder a few miles farther.
